To support this process, SpinPerceptie has developed a framework of pillars designed to increase the success rate of a stable generational wealth transition and to safeguard the long-term wellbeing of the family. This framework is built on twenty-five years of research, conducted in close collaboration with UHNW families worldwide.

The ultimate goal of the programme is for the next generation to feel genuinely equipped to steward the family’s wealth — and to retain, despite their responsibilities as heirs, the freedom to make their own choices in their private lives.

A successful transition requires preparation on both sides. Heirs must be ready for what lies ahead — but so must the SFO. Each new generation arrives with its own identity, values and worldview: shaped by social, economic and philosophical convictions, and above all, a personal vision of what the wealth is for. The programme is developed exclusively and bespoke for both the heirs and the SFO.

The governance of the programme and the design of the future operating structure are anchored in the family’s board — an informal body composed of the certified shareholders, convened to prepare and frame decisions that require a long-term perspective. The strength of this structure is that the family must always organise itself internally before its representatives in the STAK can direct the SFO — ensuring that it is always the family that leads, and never the SFO that governs.

SpinPerceptie works primarily with UHNW families based in the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Spain, Canada and Mauritius (South Africa). This geographic focus has been carefully selected on the basis of living environment, cultural development and investment climate. Since 2026, SpinPerceptie has operated a second office in Mauritius.
